Proportione at the II Responsible AI Conference in Soria

For Proportione, it is not a slogan nor does it equate to closing a system without explaining what happens inside. It means being able to know and govern where information is processed, what version of the software intervenes, what data is used, who accesses it, and under what limits the tool operates.

That is why we presented a practical interpretation that unites hardware and software: Aviaria Defense, our professional application to visualize a relative avian risk index and its context; and Proportione Defense, the device we took to Soria to show a local and controlled deployment. Technology must provide traceability and keep the decision in the hands of the human operator: it informs, does not authorize flights, nor does it replace professional judgment.

Aviaria Defense and Proportione Defense: avian risk with traceability

The risk of bird strikes is a relevant issue for aviation safety. Aviaria Defense helps present avian risk information along with its sources, validity, and limits, so that teams can evaluate scenarios with more context. It does not convert a relative index into a collision probability, nor does it replace operational procedures and decisions.

This way of working is especially important in sensitive environments: the quality of a solution depends not only on displaying an attractive interface, but on allowing users to understand the origin of the information, its limits, and the real scope of each result.

BirdRisk: the civil app for Android and iPhone

The conversation about data and security also has a civil side. BirdRisk is Proportione's civil application, available for devices compatible with Android and iOS. It brings this information closer to more people while keeping the tool's purpose and limits clear.

The conference brings together representatives from the Armed Forces, Administration, industry, and academia to address the challenges of AI in Defense. It is the right place to discuss responsible technology with precision: human control, traceability, governance, and honest communication about what each system does—and what it does not do. If you are in Soria, come visit us at booth 10. And if you are following the event remotely, we will be updating our channels with the...
